Pathway Caring for Children© offers a variety of other support services for children and their birth parents or adoptive parents.
- Family reunification; reconciliation work with birth or adoptive parents.
- Support services to promote stability of placements. (Additional support services beyond what is normally provided by Pathway may be purchased as an add‐on by placement agencies.)
- Case management services. Caseloads average 14 children. Professional staff visit children two to four times per month.
- 24‐hour crisis availability to foster parents.
- Program‐Related Activity Time for development of a skill that will enhance the individual's self‐image.
- Step‐down (to less intense services and a lower per diem) of children in Treatment Foster Care, if the youth has made significant progress in management of emotional and behavioral issues.
- Summer camp experiences for most children.
