Can YOU Help?
Pathway relies on a dedicated group of volunteers who enhance our programs, assist in administrative duties, host donation drives, and mentor Pathway children and teens. Our volunteers offer a special skill set that allows them to relate and empathize with our children, promoting trust and healing.
If you or your group are interested in volunteering, contact Deborah Garrott, Pathway Volunteer and Donor Services Director, at or 330.818.0416.
Current Holiday Giving and Volunteer Needs
Decorate Pathway’s Canton office and Life Skills Center for Christmas. Pathway has some decorations, but donated decorations would be helpful, too! The children enjoy seeing the offices decorated when they come to visit for counseling appointments!
Pathway teens are having a holiday party on 12/23/19 at Pathway’s Life Skills Center. Small group of volunteers needed to help plan the party, make food and purchase gifts for the teens.
Gift suggestions for teens:
-Boy gift ideas $10 or less: du-rags in various colors, Nike socks, mini colognes, deodorant, basketballs, footballs
-Girl gift ideas $10 or less: deodorant, fuzzy socks, bath bombs, makeup brushes, mini lotions, lip gloss, scrunchies,
-Unisex gift ideas $10 or less: headphones, deodorant, water bottles, slime, fidget toys
“Adopt” a family in need that receive counseling services at Pathway during the Christmas holiday. We provide you with suggested gift items and ages of family members
Donations of gift cards, fidget toys, activity books and colored pencils for treat bags
In lieu of Christmas or birthday gifts, we’ve had individuals ask friends and family to make a financial gift to Pathway. Pathway can provide you with a weblink to email or share on social media that explains Pathway and a link to our donation page.
