April is Volunteer Month!
April 18-22 is Volunteer Week and Pathway Volunteers make a difference! In the last year, 485.5 volunteer hours were dedicated by…
- Mentoring teens at our Positive Youth Prevention Group
- Helping to plan fundraising events including Clays for Kids and “Hope in Full Bloom” Dinner & Auction
- Teaching valuable life skills
- Providing business expertise by being part of the Pathway Board of Directors or Associate Board
- Wrapping and donating gifts for foster children during the Holiday season
- Decorating Pathway offices to create a warm and welcoming environment
- Hosting donation drives to provide foster children
- Learning about Pathway as a whole and exploring different career paths in the non-profit sector
- Cleaning and organizing Pathway locations
- Offering clerical and office help (This is invaluable as it frees up staff time)
- Taking a WHOLE week to make teens feel worthy and valued at TRUST Camp
And the list goes on! YOUR involvement reaches far beyond the walls of an office. Your commitment to volunteering means foster children feel unconditional love and care, it follows teens as they find new beginnings and grow in their confidence, and your support encourages families to build healthy connections for a lifetime.
