NEW ONLINE orientation will be held on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021!

We have a great need for families willing to be therapeutically licensed foster homes.

Sibling groups, teenagers, and children with medical issues all deserve love and care. As a therapeutically licensed home, it will take patience, resilience, creativity, flexibility, humor, and love. There is so much room for healing. You will be that soft landing spot as they begin to pick up the pieces of their lives.

We can’t wait to hear how YOU want to make a difference!

Making the decision to become a foster parent is certainly a journey in itself.

How does a therapeutically licensed foster home differ from family foster care?

· More specialized care is needed to provide a safe and loving environment.

· Additional hours of pre-service training and ongoing training every two years is required

· The needs of children you welcome into your home may include emotional, behavioral, or social issues or medical needs.

· The trauma the children may have experienced

We give you all the tools, training, and ongoing support to be a foster family. Our staff at Pathway provide:

· Trauma-informed wrap-around care and support.

· Foster children receive behavioral health counseling from our caring therapists.

· Case managers offer 24/7 crisis support.

· Respite care is provided to give a much-needed break and change of environment so everyone can recharge.
