Marcie Girdlestone
LPCC-S
Mental Health Director
Marcie Girdlestone is an Independently Licensed Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio with a supervisory designation (LPCC-S). Marcie has been at Pathway since 2008 first as part time therapist, then assumed the role of Assistant Clinical Director in 2011, Clinical Director in 2013, and now Mental Health Director since 2017.
She graduated from Walsh University with a Masters of Arts in Counseling and Human Development, and from Hiram College with Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
Marcie has worked for 30 years with children, families and teens for schools, non-profit agencies and in private practice throughout northeast Ohio with a focus on unique family dynamics, children living in foster, adoption and kinship homes, trauma and resilience.
She is a Starr Certified Trauma & Resilience Trainer (CTRT), and has provided multiple trainings throughout her career focused on play and experiential therapy, the experiences and impact of trauma, and working with children and teens in group settings.
