We rely on a dedicated group of volunteers who enhance our programs, assist in administrative duties, host donation drives, and plan special events.
Current Pathway Needs
Looking for volunteer opportunities in Canton or North Olmsted, Ohio? Volunteer and donate time, money, and resources to Pathway Caring for Children and our families.
Ongoing Volunteer Needs:
- Help plan fundraising events including the Annual Auction and Clays for Kids benefitting Pathway children and families
- Organize donation drives for Pathway
- Assist with clerical tasks-i.e. data entry, phone call reminders, organizing etc.
- Follow, Like, and Share Pathway posts on your personal social media accounts: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Have a conversation about Pathway with a colleague, friend, or family member!
- Share the great need for Foster Families! Put up Pathway flyers or yard signs! Do you want one for your yard or know a business that would happily help children in need? Contact our Recruitment Team: [email protected]
- Attend a Pathway Mission Tour– Free event to learn more about Pathway!
Help brighten up the office!
- Clean and disinfect therapy rooms and toys.
- Beautify outside the office
- Chalk our walks! Decorate inside the office and create a welcoming space for kids and families.
Gift Card Donations:
- $20 Gift Cards for Target, Walmart, Amazon, Giant Eagle, and Fast Food Restaurants or Gas Cards
- Gift cards are used to purchase clothing and necessities for new foster placements, activities equipment and materials for extracurricular activities
- They are also used as incentives for our foster children to reward good behavior and grades.
Foster Care and Transitional Age Youth Needs:
- Appreciation gifts for foster parents: gift cards, chocolates, treats, coffee/tea etc.
- Gently used vacuum cleaner for former foster teens
Therapy and Case Management Needs:
- Healthy Boxed Snacks
- Powdered drink mixes (Kool-aid, lemonade, etc.)
- SARTA & RTA Bus passes
- Games and art supplies
