On Saturday, March 14, 2026, Pathway Caring for Children will host An Evening of Magic & Meaning at Greystone Hall in Akron, Ohio. This elegant dinner and auction features live entertainment by The Alans, a nationally renowned husband-and-wife magic and mentalism duo seen on Penn & Teller. Guests will enjoy a gourmet meal, cocktails, and interactive mobile bidding while experiencing the heart of Pathway’s mission—to bring hope, healing, and stability to over 2,100 children and families each year through foster care, adoption, and mental health services.

Foster Parent Pre-Service Power Weekend Training

Children who’ve experienced trauma need compassion, stability, and someone who believes in them. That someone could be YOU. Join us for a Power-Packed Weekend of Pre-Service Training.
Complete ALL foster parent pre-service training in just four days and take the first step toward changing a child’s story.
Training Schedule: (Virtual and in-person options)
• Thursday, 6–9 PM
• Friday, : 6–9 PM
• Saturday, : 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
• Sunday, : 12–6 PM
What to Expect:
Pre-Service training is designed to give you the skills and tools needed to understand how trauma and instability impact children in foster care. You’ll explore how to meet their unique emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs with empathy and structure.
